The International Journal on Social Science and Technology (IJSST) establishes protocols to safeguard the privacy rights of research participants, with authors bearing full responsibility for ensuring comprehensive anonymity and data protection throughout their manuscripts. All personal identifiers must be systematically removed or anonymized, including names, initials, usernames, social media handles, and any information that could potentially reveal a participant's identity. This anonymization requirement extends to both textual content and visual materials such as images or figures. When any potentially identifying information must be included, written informed consent becomes mandatory. For research involving minors, consent must be obtained from a parent or legal guardian, and authors are required to secure comprehensive written consent, retain documentation of these agreements, and confirm consent acquisition during manuscript submission. In the event that identifiable participant information is discovered after publication without proper consent, the journal may temporarily withdraw the article, requiring complete removal or comprehensive anonymization of identifying content.
